LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A woman was fatally shot in the South Los Angeles area, and authorities today were looking for her killer.
The shooting was reported about 10:45 p.m. Thursday in the 5700 block of Cimarron Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman died at the scene, police said. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her relatives.
According to the preliminary investigation, the woman was outside a residence when a vehicle approached her, and a male got out and shot her, police said. No description was available of the suspect or vehicle.
