LANCASTER (CNS) - A man was fatally shot today in the Lancaster area.
The shooting was reported about 10:10 a.m. in the 100 Block of East Avenue I, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, but details were sketchy.
The man, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene, the sheriff's department reported.
No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was released by the sheriff's department, which asked anyone with information about the shooting to call the Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
