SAN MARINO (CNS) - A vote center has opened for the upcoming San Marino Unified School District Special Parcel Tax Election, officials said.
The vote center -- located in the gymnasium of Huntington Middle School at 1700 Huntington Drive -- will remain open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for in-person voting or to drop off completed vote by mail ballots, according to Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean Logan.
The election is being held on June 29.
The parcel tax known as Measure E was passed in 2009 and renewed by voters in 2015. The funding generates $4.1 million annually and is set to expire on June 30.
District voters should have received their ballots in the mail in early June.
