Fire officials have said 2021 is on track to be one of the worst years for wildfires. In fact, wildfire season has started earlier than ever because of severe drought and high heat.
A Season of Fire features the Fire Chiefs from the LA County Fire Department, Ventura County Fire Department, Orange County Fire Authority, The Los Angeles City Fire Department, and the Angeles National Forest. It’s the first time all 5 Chiefs have appeared on the same news program. They talk about the preparedness of residents (including a letter grade for residents), resources (including the new Helitankers), homeless encampments, and the mental health of firefighters. The program also features great house-hardening fire safety tips by KFI’s very own House Whisperer, Dean Sharp.
A Season of Fire is a production of the KFI News Department for iHeartMedia Los Angeles, produced by Steve Gregory and Jacob Gonzalez.
The program is brought to you by Duthie Power Services, So Cal's commercial and residential generator experts. For more info click here.
