A new survey finds that 2/3 of pet owners say they take better care of their pets than themselves. OnePoll conducted the survey on behalf of pet food company Stella and Chewy’s.
65% said they are closer to their pets than their immediate family and 61% said they would skip a date night to hang out with their furry friend. Or scaly friend. Or finned friend. Or feathered friend. I’ll stop now.
The great news is that it looks like these relationships are two way streets: 80% said that taking care of their pets led to taking better care of themselves.
