MONTEREY PARK (CNS) - One person was killed this morning in a crash on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Monterey Park.
The crash occurred about 2:10 a.m. near Markland Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Details of what led to the deadly accident were not immediately available.
A SigAlert was issued about 3 a.m. and, until further notice, only the No. 5 lane was open, the CHP said.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
