LOS ANGELES (CNS) - One person was killed this morning when a vehicle went out of control on the Colorado Street off-ramp from the Golden State (5) Freeway, veered off the road and crashed into trees.
The crash near Griffith Park was reported at 2:08 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Witnesses told the CHP that a white Nissan hit the trees on the left side of the off-ramp.
The off-ramp was closed so firefighters could stop at the scene.
No further details were available.
