A Kansas woman was arrested after telling her daughter she'd been shot as an April Fool's Day prank.
Fifty-eight year-old Arnthia Willis apparently thought it would be hilarious to call her daughter and tell her she'd been shot by an intruder.
The (obviously) freaked out daughter called 911 and dozens of police officers had surrounded Willis' home and blocked off her street,
According to a police report, when no one responded, officers eventually broke down the front door and raided the residence only to find it empty
After a brief investigation, Willis was located in a nearby town where she was taken into custody.
