Man Sought in Restaurant Robbery in Culver City

CULVER CITY (CNS) - Authorities today sought public help to find a man who robbed a restaurant in Culver City.

The crime occurred about 2:10 p.m. Monday in the 3900 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, the Culver City Police Department reported.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He wore a blue Los Angeles Dodgers hat, a black T-shirt and gray pants.

“The victim stated that he was working behind the register when the suspect entered the business,'' a police statement said. “The suspect approached the register, simulated a handgun under his shirt and demanded the money from the cash register. In fear for his life, the victim handed the suspect the register money.''

The suspect ran off. No injury was reported. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 310-253-6316.
