LOS ANGELES (CNS) - An investigation into a shooting involving an officer was underway today in the El Sereno area, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The shooting was reported at 12:21 p.m. in the 3100 block of Pueblo Avenue, according to LAPD Officer Tony Im of the media relations office, who said he could not confirm if anyone was wounded.
Police responded to an “officer needs help" call at the site after an off-duty officer reported that a man had been shot, according to ABC7, which reported that a man was wounded in the neck and abdomen.
Paramedics were sent to the location on a report of a shooting, but did not transport anyone to a hospital, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
