SANTA ANA (CNS) - A 32-year-old man was charged today with repeatedly sexually assaulting a girl in Lake Forest over a decade, starting when she was 4 years old.
Luis Ricardo Dena Ayala was charged with three counts of rape, three counts of attempted forcible oral copulation of a minor 14 or older and a count of lewd or lascivious act with a minor younger than 14, all felonies.
The defendant, who was a guardian of the girl, is accused of starting to abuse the girl when she was 4 and continuing through when she was 16, according to Orange County sheriff's Sgt. Dennis Breckner.
Ayala was scheduled to be arraigned in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana on March 26.
