It's a bird ... it's a plane .... no, it's a fireball traveling at about 42,000 miles per hour.
- According to NASA Meteor Watch, that's exactly what was spotted in the sky over northern Vermont on Sunday evening.
- One man who saw it described it as a "phenomenon" he will "never forget."
- Officials say the meteor was seen traveling northeast across 33 miles - from Mount Mansfield State Forest to Beach Hill.
- NASA Meteor Watch described it as a "nice little firework, courtesy of Mother Nature."
- There were also reports of buildings shaking in the area of the meteor which officials say was caused by a pressure difference between the front and back of the object.
