MONROVIA (CNS) - An investigation was underway this morning into the stabbing death of a woman in Monrovia.
Police and fire department personnel responded about 9:10 p.m. Monday to a medical emergency call in the 1000 block of Wildrose Avenue, east of Mountain Avenue, and found a woman who had sustained traumatic injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which was assisting Monrovia police with the investigation.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by Monrovia Fire Department paramedics.
Details of what led up to the woman's death or a description of a suspect were not immediately available.
