The time for bagels and ice creams’ respective paths to cross has apparently arrived.
A partnership is forming among two popular bagel and ice cream producers. Everything Bagels is teaming up with Jeni’s to create an Everything Bagel Ice Cream.
The bagel-flavored ice cream will feature a salty sweet cream cheese base and include poppy seeds, sesame seeds, onions, and garlic.
Garlic? In ice cream?
Yep, it’s happened before. Anyone who’s attended the iconic Gilroy Garlic Festival would tell you so. Although it has yet to be determined if the flavor of onion mixed into ice cream catches on.
Jeni’s Everything Bagel Ice Cream is being sold by the pint on its website and shops. Not willing to commit to a full pint quite yet? Jeni’s will make it available by the scoop in stores beginning February 6th.
