Coke or Coffee? How About Both?

A popular soft drink infused with your favorite morning blend is making its way stateside. Coke with Coffee has been sold overseas for years and, starting Monday, it’ll be made available in the U.S.

The product, which blends Brazilian coffee with Coke, was announced by Coca-Cola last summer for a January launch in America. The 12-ounce canned coffee comes in dark blend, vanilla and caramel flavors. Each serving contains 69 milligrams of caffeine; much less than what’s found in the same amount of coffee but far more than what’s in a can of Coke.

Coca-Cola Blak, which came out in 2006 never took off and was scrapped after just two years. Coke with Coffee was unveiled in Japan in 2018 and has since become available in Australia, Italy and Vietnam.

Coke with Coffee is targeting customers who seek an afternoon caffeine pick-me-up as an alternative to normal coffee, or a regular Coke.
