LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent today to $3.237, its highest amount since March 24.
The average price has risen seven of the past eight days, increasing 2.5 cents, including four-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures fromthe AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 1.9 cents more than one week ago and 8.4 cents higher than one month ago but 36.8 cents less than one year ago
The Orange County average price rose a half-cent to $3.222, one day after dropping three-tenths of a cent. It is at its highest amount since March 22 and 2.4 cents more than one week ago and 9.2 cents higher than a month ago. The Orange County average price is 31.2 cents less than one year ago.
