LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Southern California Edison officials say they have yet to determine what triggered an outage today that left 159,239 customers in the southeast portion of Los Angeles County in the dark for close to an hour.
The outage occurred at 6:47 a.m. and electricity was restored at 7:36 a.m., according to SCE's Caroline Aoyagi.
Power was restored utilizing a generator to affected portions of Walnut, Covina, Irwindale, Baldwin Park, West Covina, La Puente, Hacienda Heights, Rowland Heights, Industry, Whittier Narrows and Carson, Aoyagi said.
