LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.175 after decreasing slightly four of the previous five days.
The average price is six-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 2.8 cents lower than one month ago and 90.5 cents cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 44 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.133, one day after decreasing one-tenth of a cent. It is 1.4 cents less than one week ago, 3.7 cents lower than one month ago and 90.2 cents cheaper than one year ago. It has decreased 41.2 cents since the start of the year.
