- As places continue to brainstorm creative ways to drum up restaurant business during the pandemic, the Town of Mountain Village at Telluride has come up with a new plan.
- They are converting gondola cars into dining cabins for the winter.
- The "cabins" will be scattered around in a plaza area, complete with lights in the ceiling and under chairs, heating and ventilation systems, cushioned seats, and easy sliding-glass doors.
- Each can hold 6 people.
- Diners can then order from 12 nearby restaurants in the village center.
