LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $3.182, after dropping 11 of the previous 13 days.
The average price is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 3.4 cents lower than one month ago and 97.7 cents cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 43.3 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $3.143, one day after decreasing two-tenths of a cent. It is 1.3 cents less than one week ago, 4.5 cents lower than one month ago and 97.5 cents cheaper than one year ago. It has decreased 40.2 cents since the start of the year.
