LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped four-tenths of a cent today to $3.186, one day after rising three-tenths of a cent.
The average price has dropped nine of the past 11 days, decreasing 1.4 cents, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 1 cent less than one week ago, 3.1 cents lower than one month ago, $1.003 cheaper than one year ago. It has decreased 42.9 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.149, one day after rising one-tenth of a cent. It is 1.1 cents less than one week ago, 4 cents lower than one month ago and $1.004 cheaper than one year ago. It has decreased 39.6 cents since the start of the year.
