LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.191, one day after rising two-tenths of a cent.
The average price has dropped six of the past seven days and is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 3 cents lower than one month ago and $1.035 cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 42.4 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $3.156 one day after remaining unchanged. It is 1 cent less than one week ago, 3.9 cents lower than one month ago and $1.036 cheaper than one year ago. It has decreased 38.9 cents since the start of the year.
