LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent today to $3.224, one day after remaining unchanged.
The average price is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 45.3 cents lower than one year ago but 3.6 cents more than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 39.1 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.201, one day after rising one-tenth of a cent. It is three-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 44.3 cents lower than one year ago but 2.8 cents higher than one month ago. It has decreased 34.2 cents since the start of the year.
