CA Fires: New Evacuations Issued for Fresno, Madera, Mariposa Counties

New evacuations have been ordered for Madera, Fresno and Mariposa Counties in California as the state's Creek fire, which started on Friday, has exploded to over 135,000 acres.

The fire, which doubled in size in only one day, has 0% containment, destroying 65 acres and threatening nearly 5,300 homes. Nearly 200 people are trapped, but safe, in refuge areas inside the Sierra National Forest.

As of Tuesday morning, 24 had been rescued by helicopter. But thankfully, as far as we know, this fire wasn't started by parents hosting a 'gender reveal' party...

As of Monday, the 'gender reveal' El Dorado Fire had burned almost 10,000 acres, as Yucaipa remained under evacuation orders, as well as the neighborhoods nearby in the San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Unfortunately, the El Dorado Fire isn't the first time a fire has started due to a gender reveal party.

There have actually been quite a few...
