LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged today, remaining at $3.226, one day after rising three-tenths of a cent to its highest amount since March 24.
The average price is 1.2 cents more than a week ago and 4.6 cents higher than one month ago but 43.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 38.9 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose three-tenths of a cent to $3.203, one day after dropping a half-cent. It is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 3.6 cents higher than one month ago but 42.8 cents less than one year ago. It has decreased 34.2 cents since the start of the year.
