So let me get this straight...Blanche, Rose, Dorothy and Sophia DIDN'T actually live in Miami? The house Blanche owned was in Brentwood, CA.? Is Rose even from St.Olaf?
The facade that was used for their "house" was actually in Brentwood and just sold for $4 million dollars.
The iconic house was initially put up for sale just a few months ago -July 16th, asking for $2,999,000, wow they made a profit. Good for Blanche.
The couple that built the house in 1955 didn't even watch The Golden Girls and have chosen to stay anonymous.
Fans were hopeful that HGTV would buy the house after the network purchased 'The Brady Bunch' house in 2019 and remodeled to look just like it did in the 70's for a new show 'A Very Brady Renovation'. Guess there will be no 'A Very Golden Girls Renovation' -bummer.
