We spoke with Owner Jim Leontas, who told us he's had to completely restructure the business in the wake of COVID-19. Instead of having open hours in their three locations, Jim and his team are meeting with customers through one-on-one appointments for safe social distance shopping.
He admits the business has been fortunate to be dealing with many factories that are out of state and still open. Their sofa factory in here in California has also been able to remain open.
In addition to fulfilling sofa orders, Comforts of Home has also been making masks in its factory for essential workers. It was heartening to hear from Jim how supportive his community and customers have been to the business.
