Nudists In Czech Republic Issued Warnings For Not Wearing Face Masks

Police in the Czech Republic have issued warnings to a large group of naked beachgoers -- but not because they weren't wearing clothes, but because they weren't wearing protective face masks.

The encounter occurred in the town of Lázně Bohdaneč, just east of Prague, after a concerned passersby called police to report the nudists were violating the town's coronavirus face mask order.

"Unfortunately, many of the sunbathing citizens were gathered in large groups," a police spokesman said. "Upon the arrival of the police, everyone agreed to respect the government regulation."

The order to wear face masks during the coronavirus pandemic is a new idea to residents of the town, where walking around completely nude is perfectly normal, and legal!

"Citizens are allowed to be without clothes in designated locations," the spokesman says. "But they still must cover their mouths and only gather in appropriate numbers."
