Update: The three students at UCLA who were in self-isolation off campus have tested negative for the coronavirus, university officials said late Friday evening.

“To be clear, no one on the UCLA campus has tested positive for COVID- 19,” UCLA Chancellor Gene Block said in an email sent to the campus community this morning.
Health officials with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health were working to return the students' test results as quickly as possible, Block added.
“Understandably, some of you may be wondering about the status of classes and campus operations in general,” Block said. “We are actively monitoring and responding to the situation and will continue to follow the guidance of public health agencies. At this time, there have been no recommendations by LACDPH to suspend campus operations, including modifying class schedules."
Block said the "safety and well-being of the entire UCLA community remains" their top priority. Additional updates on the outbreak could be found on school's COVID-19 website.
Anyone who develops flu-like symptoms is being asked to seek medical attention.
The University will also be holding a meeting on Monday to address any student and faculty concerns about the coronavirus outbreak.
Students and staff were also advised about updated travel restrictions, as the university barred all travel to regions of the world with Level 3 travel advisories. That includes mainland China, South Korea, Italy and Iran. All non-essential international travel is being discouraged as well.
