LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent today to $3.593, marking its fifth consecutive slight decrease.
The average price is nine-tenths of cent below one week ago and 5.6 cents lower than one month ago but 28.9 cents above one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.543, one day after dropping a half-cent. It is a half-cent less than one week ago and 2.3 cents lower than one month ago but 27 cents higher than one year ago.
