Best Buy Employee Says 'Not On My Watch' After Stopping Shoplifting Attempt

This woman deserves way more than just 'Employee of the Month'...

Summer Tapasa was working at Best Busy in Oahu, Hawaii when a man attempted to steal a portable speaker. And according to 24-year-old Tapasa, this wasn't his first time stealing from the store...

"My first instinct was to just stop him. He's not going anywhere. He's not about to do this again. I'm not about to let it happen, especially not on my watch," she said.

And 'stop him' is exactly what she did... And luckily for us, it was all caught on security video. Watch below!

"I could hear my manager in the back of me saying, 'Let him go, Summer. It's okay, let him go. Let him go,'" recalled Tapasa. "They would rather let an item go than us risking our lives, and I totally understand that. I appreciate that."

Tapasa even said the man apologized to her outside of the store, but she just told him to never come back.

"I found out who the guy is, and I mean to reach out to him and bless him. I want to bless him so that he could stop doing what he's doing," she added.
