LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped 1 cent today to $3.603, one day after remaining unchanged.
The average price has decreased 57 of the past 59 days. It is 2.4 cents less than one week ago and 22 cents lower than one month ago, but 22.8 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped a half-cent to $3.536, one day after rising two-tenths of a cent. It is nine-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 21.4 cents lower than one month ago, but 20.3 cents more than one year ago.
