All Dogs Go To Heaven, But Not All Of Them Go To Driving School

The residents of a cul-de-sac in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, thought it was odd when they saw a car driving backwards in circles on Thursday...

After its 20th or 30th backwards loop, the concerned people took a closer look to see who was driving -- but they didn't see anyone behind the wheel! One of the neighbors called 911, and by the time police and firefighters arrived, the car had been doing backwards doughnuts for more than an hour.

"They finally stopped the car," resident Anne Sabol said. "And when the cops got the door open, a black dog jumped out."

It turns out the dog's owner had gotten out of the car and left it running with the dog inside, according to police. The pooch, a black lab, accidentally threw the vehicle into reverse, beginning his dizzying journey.

"I was like... 'They should give that thing a license!'" Sabol added.

We're also happy to report that no animals or humans were hurt during the ruff joyride.
