Officials at County-USC Medical Center are asking for the public's help in identifying two patients who has been hospitalized for about two months with undisclosed medical problems.
The first patient is a man who was brought to the medical facility by paramedics on Aug. 8. He refers to himself as “Martin Elliots,” and is at least 67 years of age, with “fair skin,” 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 131 pounds, and has light brown hair and blue eyes.
He speaks English. He has no tattoos or other identifying marks.
The second patient is a black female who may go by the name Mary Moffits and is described as a woman in her 50s with a medium build and no visible tattoos. She has black and grey hair and brown eyes.
Officials say Ms. Moffits may be from Jackson County, Mississippi and may have ties to the state of Texas. She also speaks English with a slight southern accent,but has no tattoos or identifying marks.
Anyone with information on the man's identity was urged to call Cesar Robles, a clinical social worker at the hospital, at 323-409-6884.
