Eating Less Red Meat May Have No Health Benefits After All

We've heard it for years.

Americans NEED to stop eating red meat. It's bad for us. Vegans use it against us all the time that eating red meat can be linked to heart disease, cancer, and other ills.

But finally, the real truth is coming out. As it turns out, those warnings weren't backed by good scientific evidence.

Researchers were able to conclude that eating less beef and pork has a minimal health benefits. In fact, the advantages are so faint that it's barley noticeable.

“The certainty of evidence for these risk reductions was low to very low,” said Bradley Johnston, an epidemiologist at Dalhousie University in Canada and leader of the group publishing the new research in the Annals of Internal Medicine.

Researchers are hoping that this new study will influence future dietary recommendations.

Of course, this is coming with major backlash. The American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public and more believe that these findings will hurt the public. They are even attempting to delay the release of this publication.

We've had enough though.
