LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today for the sixth consecutive day, ticking up four-tenths of a cent to $3.795.
The average price has risen 12.3 cents over the past six days, including one-tenth of a cent Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 11.9 cents more than one week ago, 21.7 cents higher than one month ago and 10.5 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 40.4 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.752, one day after decreasing four-tenths of a cent. It is 11.7 cents more than one week ago, 19.6 cents higher than one month ago and 10.9 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 40.3 cents since the start of the year.
