Say hello to Kentucky Fried Chicken's newest offering that brings them into the fake meat boom.
Introducing the Beyond Fried Chicken, which is basically Beyond Meats' plant-based fake meat nuggets seasoned like its iconic chicken.
Kevin Hochman, president and chief concept officer, KFC U.S says:
"KFC Beyond Fried Chicken is so delicious, our customers will find it difficult to tell that it's plant-based. I think we've all heard 'it tastes like chicken' – well our customers are going to be amazed and say, 'it tastes like Kentucky Fried Chicken!'"
The Beyond Fried Chicken will debut in an Atlanta location and if things go well they may roll out in restaurants across the country.
