Have you ever wondered when you're most productive at work?
Surely it's not when you first arrive...
Definitely not before lunch...
And yeah, not gonna happen right after lunch either...
Late afternoon? Forget about it!
Well, according to a new survey taken by co-working space company Workthere, employees are most productive in the mid-morning, from 10 to 11 am to be exact.
"At Workthere, we conducted a survey of 1,500 full-time office workers in the UK who work 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, to reveal just exactly when workers are the most productive," their website says.
But what about the afternoon? Turns out only two percent of those polled said they actually get things done at work between 4 and 6 pm. Hear that bosses?! Sounds like you might as well just let everyone off a few hours early today...
The researchers also learned that people felt their highest level of productivity on Tuesdays, coasting downwards throughout the rest of the week.
