Children who grow up with one parent are twice as likely to drop out of high school, 2.5 times as likely to become teen mothers, 1.4 times as likely to be out of school and out of work, and as adults, they have higher rates of divorce.
Single mothers have worse physical health and mental health, so it's important to have some say in your reproduction so you can control when you want to GO FOR IT.

Women are getting educated and building careers during their fertility window. A pregnancy would disrupt this because…guess what, it takes a lot of work to raise a child and often those careers we've worked so hard for, get cut back a good bit, if not shelved for a little while.
The solution: Give women the power to delay their pregnancies until they’ve earned enough money to support a child or found a dude who’s willing to stay around and do the work of parenthood. This will reduce both our abortion rates, welfare payments to single mothers, and improve mental and physical health of single mothers and their children.
