Detectives Searching For Man Who Attacked People With A Hammer

EAST LOST ANGELES (CNS) - Sheriff's detectives asked for the public's help today to find a man who hit two people in the head with a hammer.

The attacks took place on March 25, 2016, according to the sheriff's department. The suspect hit two people in the head at the corner of Bonnie Beach Place and Triggs Street between 2 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The suspect is Hispanic, between 5 feet 8 and 6 feet tall and between 200 and 240 pounds. He is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, the sheriff's department said. The suspect had a goatee. When the attacks occurred, he was wearing a hat, sunglasses, blue windbreaker, brown cargo shorts and white shoes.

The suspect fled in a dark 1990s Toyota Tacoma pickup with an extended cab.
