A woman was arrested after filming her daughter take a tongue depressor from the doctor's office, lick it, and then put it back.
Cori Ward was with her daughter at the doctor's office and there was a sign that read "Please do not touch medical supplies! Thank you".
She then took out her phone and filmed her daughter licking a tongue depressor before she put it back. She also superimposed the words "Don't tell me how to live my life" over the video.
Huffington Post reports that she was then arrested on felony charges.
Felony charges?!
Yep. This is considered "tampering with a consumer product without regard for possible death or bodily injury".
Ward says, "I mean honestly I wasn't thinking. I know what it's like to, you know, have to worry about your kids' health and stuff. I would never put somebody else's kid at risk".
But then why did you do it?! It's clearly unsanitary so what was the point!?
She continued saying, "I was just being silly with my kids. It's ruined my life right now. That's how I feel at least".
If you were worried about the medical supplies, don't be. They were removed and everything that Ward touched was sanitized.
At least someone was thinking that day.
