The East Area Rapist. The Visalia Ransacker. The Creek Killer. The Diamond Knot Killer.
Or, as he is best known, the Golden State Killer.
During the 1970s and 1980s, DeAngelo terrorized the state of California. He currently stands accused of 13 murders. He is also suspected of 50 rapes and 225 home invasions.
Paige St. John and the Los Angeles Times did a deep dive into his life, talking to his friends, his family, and detectives from the case in an attempt to understand the mind of the Golden State Killer.
Paige joined the show to discuss the findings and her podcast "Man In The Window."
