Remember Kamala Harris?
If you don't, you're not alone.
Four months ago, Harris announced her presidential bid and everything started out great. She gained $1.5 million within 24 hours and a rally she threw drew in around 200,000 supporters.
But now, the Harris train seems to be slowing down.
The Los Angeles Times reports that there are other choices in the Democratic Party who have sped past her including former Vice President Joe Biden and the Senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders.
People are still hopeful for Harris even if she's not as popular as she once was.
Brian Brokaw, who had helped Harris successfully run for state attorney general twice says, "I don't think anyone ever thought she would get in the race and blow away the field and be a front-runner from January 2019 through election day".
Other supporters have said that she is using a "slow and steady" approach now and that will help her in the long run.
Others, however, are not impressed with her cautious approach to certain issues.
A Democratic strategist says, "What we've learned so far is that she's great at asking questions but timid at answering them. She's going to have to correct that to navigate this process".
Soon we will see if this weakness will hurt her in the long run.
