Southland Gas Prices Drop To Lowest Amount Since January 2018

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped today to its lowest amount since Jan. 22, 2018, falling seven-tenths of a cent to $3.287, the 22nd consecutive daily decrease.

The average price has dropped 14.1 cents over the past 22 days, including a half-cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.2 cents less than one week ago and 13.4 cents lower than one month ago but 4 cents higher than one year ago.

The Orange County average price also dropped today to its lowest amount since Jan. 22, 2018, falling two-tenths of a cent to $3.25, the 27th decrease in 28 days.

The Orange County average price has dropped 16.6 cents over the past 28 days, including nine-tenths of a cent on Wednesday. It fell for 23 consecutive days, was unchanged Sunday and resumed decreasing on Monday.

The Orange County average price is 3 cents less than one week ago and 12.6 cents lower than one month ago but 4.1 cents higher than one year ago.
