Children's Bomb Game Discontinued After Online Backlash

In a world of video games that detail murder, robberies and other crimes...it seems one game has stepped over the line.

Or should I say wire?

A children's game that encourages players aged six and up to defuse a fake bomb before it detonates has been pulled from major retailers after some Twitter backlash. 

The game "Cut The Wire" encourages players to cut correct wires to defuse a fake bomb.  

If the player cuts the incorrect wire or doesn't detonate the bomb within a certain amount of time, the "bomb" sounds an alarm and makes explosion noises. 

Twitter users expressed concern because they claim this is a game that highlights violence to young children. 

Target and Walmart no longer sell the game.
