Police in Salinas, California are looking for a man that was seen on a surveillance camera licking a family's doorbell...
Oh, but just you wait. It gets even better...
The video showed the man licking the doorbell for THREE HOURS.
Not one.
Not two.
THREE... CONSECUTIVE... HOURS...
"I thought I'd seen it all, but this takes the cake," neighbor Francisco Javier Estrada told KION.
The Dungans live at the house, and although they weren't home at the time of the incident, they said that their kids were inside sleeping with no idea what was happening outside.
"We were pleasantly surprised the image was so clear it didn't take us long to identify the individual," Miguel Cabrera, a spokesperson for the Salina Police Department said. The newly installed security cameras helped Police identify the man as Roberto Daniel Arroyo.
"You kind of laugh about it afterwards because, technically, he didn't harm anybody, he didn't break anything," homeowner Sylvia Dungan said.Dungan also added that their home is safe, and that the doorbell has since been completely cleaned. As far as the suspects tongue goes, the cleanliness of that thing can not be confirmed...
Police said that Arroyo could potentially face misdemeanor charges of prowling, as well as petty theft.
