Surf's up in Northern California. Forecasters say big waves are coming for beaches up north over the coming days, prompting warnings for residents and visitors to avoid the coast.
Officials with the National Weather Service say the biggest waves could measure up to 60 feet by Sunday night into Monday morning.
No official warning or advisory has been issued just yet, but the weather service says there will likely be one within 48 hours before the big waves make it to shore.
