A 45-year-old youth pastor in Colton has been accused of sexually assaulting multiple victims over a nearly 20-year period the Riverside Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Authorities say sheriff's deputies recieved a report about a local youth pastor who may have been committing lewd acts on children. After an extensive investigation, sheriff's authorities say they determined that several victims who were minors, had been allegedly sexually assaulted between 1999 and 2017.
Malo "Victor" Montiero of Colton was arrested last Friday by the department in Wildomar. He's been booked on numerious felony charges related to sexual assault on juveniles.
The Riverside County Sheriff's department is asking for the public's help in finding any additional victims that may exist. The name of the church where Montiero acted as a pastor was not released, but authorities say if you believe you have any relevant information about the case, to contact Master Investigator Pelato at (951) 245-3300.
