An Inland Empire gang prosecutor is under investigation for allegedly offensive social media posts. The "San Bernardino Sun" reports that Deputy District Attorney Michael Selyem is accused of railing against U.S. Representative Maxine Waters on Facebook and Instagram.
His accounts are now deleted, as are his comments about former first lady Michelle Obama, Mexican immigrants and the victim of a police shooting. The posts were reportedly full of obscenities and "hateful rhetoric."
The San Bernardino County D.A.'s office has been aware of the messages since last month and denounces them.
