Los Angeles-area Congresswoman Maxine Waters is getting support from the religious community. Shane B. Scott of Macedonia Baptist Curch said President Trump threatened Waters when he tweeted that she should "be careful" what she wished for.
"It is absolutely an implied threat. Maxine Waters said to push back and to make noise," said Scott.

"If black people and brown people did not speak up, did not speak truth to power, we would still be chopping cotton in Mississippi and picking grapes for .25 cents an hour," Reverend John Cager of the L.A. Council of Religious Leaders said.
